WhatsApp QR code
Type your number with country code and, if you like, the first message. Whoever scans the code lands straight in a chat with you, text ready to send. For shop windows, menus, vehicles and anywhere you want customers talking to you without dialing a thing.
Three steps, nothing to install.
Everything runs on your own computer, start to finish.
Type the number with country code
In international format: +44 7911 123456. Spaces and dashes do no harm, the generator strips them; the country code is what cannot be missing.
Write the first message, if you like
One line that saves the person the first step: Hi, I saw the apartment listing. The message appears written in the box, ready to send.
Download and test
Scan with your phone: it should open WhatsApp in a chat with your number, message in the box. Only then send it to print.
The ready message changes the contact rate
Between scanning a code and writing the first line, plenty of people give up. With the message already in the box, the remaining gesture is one tap on send. Write it with the reply you want in mind: Hi, I would like to book a table tells you what they came for.
It works without exposing your number
The code carries the number, but the reader never needs to see it or save it: the chat opens by itself. For a business, that is the difference between handing out a contact and starting a conversation.
The same code works on paper and screen
In the window, on the menu, in the site footer, in an email signature. The wa.me link inside the code opens the app on phones and WhatsApp Web on computers.
It sends no message
The code opens the chat with the text ready; sending is the reader's decision. There is no way for a QR to send messages on its own, and be wary of anyone promising otherwise.
It does not verify the number
The generator strips spaces and symbols, but it cannot know whether the number exists or has WhatsApp. Get one digit wrong and the code opens a chat with a stranger, with no warning. Always test before printing.
It needs WhatsApp installed
On phones without the app, the link opens a WhatsApp page asking to install it. If your audience may not have WhatsApp, the phone or email QR depends on no app at all.
Questions about the WhatsApp QR.
Does it work for groups?
No. This code opens a direct chat with one number. Group invite links are managed inside WhatsApp itself and can be revoked; if you have one, you can put it in a link QR.
Can I use a landline?
Yes, as long as that number has a WhatsApp account (WhatsApp Business accepts landlines). The code only opens the chat; the account has to exist.
Does the pre-written message accept accents and emojis?
It does. The text is properly encoded inside the link and reaches the message box exactly as you wrote it.
How much does it cost?
The first download each day is free in every tool, no account needed. After that, each code costs 1 EUR as a one-off purchase: you pay for that code and there is no monthly fee.
Want people to reach you?
Clear the steps out of the way.
Open the generator and type the number. Nothing to install, nothing sent anywhere.
