Email QR code
Type your address and, if you like, the subject and body of the message. Whoever scans the code lands in their mail composer with everything filled in: all that is left is pressing send. For job applications, quote requests, support, or any flow where you want messages arriving tidy.
Three steps, nothing to install.
Everything runs on your own computer, start to finish.
Type the destination address
Yours, or the department that should receive it: quotes@, jobs@, support@. That is where the message will be addressed.
Fill in subject and body, if you like
A fixed subject (Quote request, Application for the listing) lets your inbox filter itself. The body can carry the questions you want answered.
Download and test
Scan with your phone: it should open the mail app with recipient, subject and body in place. Only then send it to print.
A fixed subject organizes the inbox
When every message from one poster arrives with the same subject, a simple filter files them into a folder and nothing gets lost in the noise. That is work the code does for you before the message even exists.
A pre-written body guides the reply
If you need three details to answer a quote, write them in the body as questions. The person completes and sends, and the first email exchange stops being about asking for what was missing.
Paper and screen, the same code
On a poster, the phone opens its mail app; on a screen, the computer opens the configured mail program. The mailto address inside the code is the same everywhere.
It opens the message, it does not send it
Sending is always the reader's gesture. The code only saves the typing of the address, the subject and the body.
It depends on the reader's mail app
On a phone with no mail account configured, the code opens a screen asking to set one up, and plenty of people give up right there. If your audience is more messaging than email, the WhatsApp QR converts better.
The address is readable inside the code
As with any QR, the content is public: any reader can extract the address. It is no place for addresses you do not want circulating, and expect some spam may reach an address posted on the street.
Questions about the email QR.
Can I add several recipients?
This generator takes one destination address, which covers almost every use on paper. If you need copies, handle that on your mailbox's side, with forwarding.
Does the body accept line breaks?
It does. You can write the body in paragraphs or as a list of questions, and it arrives that way in the composer.
Do accents in the subject come out right?
Yes. Subject and body are encoded as the mailto format requires, and reach the composer exactly as you wrote them.
How much does it cost?
The first download each day is free in every tool, no account needed. After that, each code costs 1 EUR as a one-off purchase: you pay for that code and there is no monthly fee.
